Shawn: I’m Shawn, and I’m a classic cinema addict with a special interest in silent cinema and pre-Code Hollywood. I love learning about classic films and filmmakers, using my experience working in libraries and archives to uncover stories buried in archival collections, fan magazines, and scholarly writing and sharing them in a way that makes classic film history accessible, engaging, and relevant for today’s movie fans.
Seleus: I’m Seleus, a classic film blogger with a lifelong love of classic cinema. My favorites include film noir, Fred and Ginger, Joan Crawford, Claude Rains, William Wyler, classic horror, and wonderfully cheesy sci-fi B movies. I love discovering “new” old films, exploring places tied to Hollywood history, and sharing what I learn along the way. My goal is to bridge the gap between today and yesteryear and keep classic cinema alive, fun, and worth discovering.
Dominique: To keep it quick, simple, and to the point, my name is Dominique, and I am an art and film creative and a costume/fashion designer—completely inspired by classic cinema—for Dominique Revue and Dominique Private Collection.
More often than not, I feel as if I am married to classic cinema, and classic films on loop are my children. Classic films are my piano, every genre are the keys, playing a tune for any mood.
My professional and personal trademark radiate from my adoration of classic cinema that influences my continuous homage to the eras, rooted in my homebrew adage, "Classic entertainment in a modern world done in a vintage manner."
